This website ("Comics I Don't Understand") often gives me far too much credit. I'm just not perceptive enough to figure out or keep track of how most readers interpret my comic. I'm always impressed, though, with the self-assurance many readers have when it comes to expressing their take on a particular FA.
I'm reminded of pre-folded roadmaps from back in the day. Once a map is unfolded, it can never appear as it once was. In fact, each time it is re-folded it takes on a new shape. This analogy makes perfect sense to me in that each time a reader attempts to unfold (look at) a particular FA, it will appear different each time it is folded or unfolded (looked at). And it's all good... even if it leads you to a dead end.
It's late and I'm sleep-deprived. Why am I talking about roadmaps exactly?
