In true pop-up art fashion, the 7-foot-tall gingerbread monolith mysteriously appeared in San Francisco, California on December 25, 2020 and then – perhaps unsurprisingly – collapsed the next day.
Monoliths have also appeared in California, Romania, the Isle of Wight, the Netherlands, Germany and Spain in the previous months of 2020.
Apparently, no one noticed the sentinel surveillance pickle on a lone hill in Froglandia.
