I have lived in Missouri most of my life. I have never heard or used any term other than "fitted sheet." Perhaps it's a regional thing. When it comes to online definitions, I found more talk devoted to fitted sheets. The term "contour sheet" was only used to let a reader know that it was a less common alternative to fitted sheet.
