The Erastus Farnham House is located just south of Fremont, Indiana, on Indiana State Road 827 and was built in 1847 - 1849 by Erastus Farnham. A staunch abolitionist and one of the local Underground Railroad leaders, Farnham designed this home in part to be used as a stop on the Underground Railroad.
