Shoecabbage

I know today was the scheduled date for its removal, but, I guess, I wasn't prepared for how sad I'd be to see SHOECABBAGE gone from the GoComics website. Yesterday a book proposal rejection, today SHOECABBAGE removed. What do I have to look forward to tomorrow?
